Relay for Life has come and gone, Hannah's birthday has come and gone, my brain has come and gone...ha ha. Above is Hannah's traditional photo of her with her luminaries, this was taken at the very end of the night for her, after she had asked to go home NOW..so I'm glad it came out as well as it did.

We had another wonderful year at Relay. Our town planning team does such a wonderful job with everything. We ended up this year with 62 luminaries, thank you to everyone who once again supported our team by purchasing a luminary. I have some very nice photos, and will forward them shortly.

This year we had a prize wheel, with lots of great prizes, an ice cream cart-which was fantastic but would have been even better had the temperature not dropped by 20 degrees and everyone was freezing, and Hannah's pick a duckie game. In total our team raised $2272!! We do this event primarily to celebrate Hannah and ALL the cancer survivors. Hannah really enjoys going and celebrating, she does get special treatment as a survivor! We did see our little friend from last year, Thomas, but did only saw him from afar and couldn't find him again. I sure hope he's doing well, he looked great!

Relay was on Saturday, June 4th, and Hannah's birthday was Monday, June 6th. We celebrated at home with her requested meal-ravioli. Followed by a crazy cake-she always wants the craziest cake possible. I can't believe she is 12 years old now, 5 years from her cancer diagnosis. What an accomplishment. There were times I thought she wouldn't make it to celebrate her 12th. What a truly joyous night it was for all of us.

Hannah had her sleepover birthday party this weekend. We had so much planned-she is a big planner-and it rained. At first, it was a light rain and the girls spent the first 2 hours in the pool so it didn't matter. Then it POURED down rain, for hours! We had planned a campfire with smores (and the biggest marshmallows ever seen) followed by manhunt with special flashlights we had found for everyone. Well, plan two, we decorated sugar cookies (that I made at the last minute), played Wii Dance, and indoor hide and seek with glow necklaces and bracelets all over their bodies. They had fun and I collapsed into bed around 11:30pm.

We're on to graduation now. The girls are still in school, Colby is done this week and Hannah on the 24th. My parents are coming out for Hannah's graduation, so everyone is excited about that. They should arrive on Thursday. More to come soon!
